Advancing Healthcare Facilities for the people of Multan

Multan, Pakistan’s 7th largest city has been hailed as the cultural hub of Pakistan and the city of shrines and mosques. According to the 2017 consensus, it has a population of over 4.7 million which is increasing with every passing day. The rapid increase in population demands a rapid increase in the development and sustenance of social institutions like schools, colleges, universities, hospitals, and commercial buildings.

As of now, the situation of the available health facilities in Multan, as compared with the need of the population is alarming. Currently, there is only one tertiary care hospital in Multan, which is Tertiary Care Hospital Nishtar that caters to the need of the people of Multan as well as the surrounding districts.
